9f6a522020Replaces log4j 1.x API with 2.8.2. As of now the logger does not use a configuration file which results in warnings all over and the default logging level is set to TRACE. However it does compile and the application is runnable.

9e8e20c322Possible fix for the canceled download log spam problem. The error with AJP messages comes up when a user closes connection on an ongoing GET request. Since this is not a problem for us (no modifications take place), we can just accept that it happened an go on with our lifes.
