What is a Leisure Pass Scheme?

The Leisure Pass, also known as the leisure pass scheme offers reduced prices for use of activities at Swimming Pools, Sports Centres and Libraries.

Residents can benefit both financially and improve their health and fitness, by joining the scheme.

Do I Qualify?

If you are between the age of enter amount and enter amount and live in enter council name, then you are eligible for a Leisure Pass Card for use at all participating centres and swimming pools.

What will the Pass Card cost me?

Two types of Leisure pass Cards are available to residents, according to personal status.

Ordinary Type Category for just enter amount you will receive a Leisure pass Card (valid for 12 months). This card will entitle you to use many popular facilities at greatly reduced prices*
"A" Type Category if you fall into any of the following categories, and can show proof of status, your Leisure Pass Card will be issued Free of Charge and the lower off-peak charges for many popular facilities will apply at all public opening times:

In addition, the Leisure pass Card can also be used to save money on

Will the scheme save me money?

Savings can be enormous and immediate. Take for instance the sauna facilities (off peak).

In this example, the cost of your Leisure pass Card has been paid for on your first visit (with change to spare!). All of the other facilities offer similar savings.

How do I obtain a Leisure Pass Card?

To take advantage of the Leisure Pass Scheme, you will need to either contact us on the details above or link to online form. If you cannot complete this form or print it out you can email enter email address and we will post a leaflet to you.

You will also need to bring with you;

  • Proof of identification, showing name, address and signature (driving licence, membership card etc.)
  • A passport size photograph of yourself, (this can be a current photograph cut to size)
  • Status verification (refers to "A" type category)
  • Fee of enter amount (does not apply to "A" type category)

Remember, without a Leisure Pass Card, you will have to pay the much higher non-resident rate for the same facilities!

60 or over? - New arrangements for Senior Citizens

If you are a male, 60 years of age or over and resident in enter council name you are entitled to benefit from a number of facilities free or at reduced prices at our centres.

Men who have not reached the age of 65 years and consequently not in possession of a pension book (as proof of status), will need to get a Senior Citizen Pass (free of charge).

Either contact us on the details above or . link to online form and present it at any of the Centres shown above and on the form, with evidence of your age (birth certificate) and proof of residency in enter council name. You will also need a passport size photograph (this can be a current photograph cut to size) of yourself.

A Senior Citizen's Pass will then be processed and issues to you while you wait (free of charge).

* Prices vary for peak enter time periods and off-peak enter time periods. These times may vary on which facility you are using. Please contact the participating centres and pools for more details.
