The Municipal Funeral Service is a service provided, at low cost to the customer by the Council
The Council has appointed the long established firm of:

To provide a dignified funeral service for the residents of the Borough.
If you receive :-
you may be able to get financial assistance towards the cost of the funeral.
To obtain advice contact your local Benefits Office; they can arrange an interview for you, or they can send you the claim form SF200 "Assistance with funeral payments".
You can also get advice from your Welfare Rights Officer.
The charge for a funeral is:

Additional services are available at extra cost, these can be discussed when making funeral arrangements.
