  Analyze the portlet WorkspaceDirectoryPortlet and make it work. It uses
  the workspaces.jsp, currently located in subdir portlets, in some way
  currently unknown. May be, workspaces.jsp has no relation to 
  WorkspaceDirectoryPortlet.
