APLAWS is an Open Source Content Management System developed to assist UK local authorities deliver services online. There is a growing user group.

The system has been improved considerably as part of the Local Authority Websites National Project over the period April 2003 - March 2004 and part of a Rollout and Dissemination phase for 2004/5. APLAWS community is now moving towards becoming user-led.
