<li title="*">Direct Debit- this is the easiest way to pay-simply ring the Council Tax section for a direct debit form using the details above.</li>

<li title="*">Post Office- You can use your payment swipe card at any Post Office. There is no charge for this service. Cheques should be made payable to 'Post Office Counters Ltd'</li>
|
|
<li title="*">Cash or Cheque- you can pay at any of the Council's cash offices (see paying your bills web page for details of cash office addresses and opening times)</li>
|
|
<li title="*">Debit/Credit card payment- you can pay by this method at all Council cash offices-by telephone and by post- see paying your bills for details of cash office addresses and telephone numbers</li>
|
|
</ul><h3>Banding</h3><p>Each dwelling is billed for Council Tax, whether it is a house, bungalow, flat, maisonette, mobile home or house boat, and whether it is owned or rented. Each property allocated to one of eight bands according to it's market value on 1st April 1991.
|
|
